Internet Explorer 9
« on: February 15, 2011, 03:57:29 PM »
It's availible in the test bed form now, but sorry XP users, Microsoft has left you in the dust.  It seems to have taken a lesson from Google Chrome, and has streamlined its loadout.  However, those of you who liked to bookmark your pages and be a click away, that capability is gone.

What are your opinions on the new browser?

What are my opinions of Explorer 9?

Same is for Windows 7 and Vista. I believe they have a tremendous Gravity Well surrounding them. And I am not promoting Mac or any other machine. So lets dont go there please.

I believe they were made for (for the most part) mental midgets that can not formulate a clue of what to do when encountering a stick in the road. Of course this is just evedence of what our civilization is being transformed into. Look around you.....  how many people you actually see have a clue what they are doing? How many people have clue how thier Ipad, Ipod, Notebook, Blackberry, Blueberry, gizmo, widget, etc... actually works? How many actually know how a hard drive functions? How many people know how the picture gets to your face from your TV?

Just my thoughts though and dont really mean anything,

Later,
KayBay

I don't know why people even still use I.E when you can use Firefox which is head & shoulders above I.E in every way, plus it's a hell of a lot more customizable.  The first time I used Firefox I never looked back, and if your an I.E user and have never tried out Firefox do yourself a favor and give it a try, you won't regret it, especially if your not that great of a speller because Firefox has a built-in spellchecker.

So rather then type what I was gonna type. We'll just go with what you said instead.

The only time I ever use explorer when I have to actually get something from microsoft.

Based on passive observation, I'm starting to hate anything and everything that has to do with Mystuffsucks and the intardweeb at the same time.

I got hooked on Firefox. Never looked at anything else.

Some websites need you to have Microsoft Silverlight installed.  Silverlight is an add on for Internet Explorer.

Because IE is now faster than Firefox. Well... under certain conditions. Mozilla has tested Firefox and come out with different conclusions of course.

The thing I dont like about IE9 is the constant crying about startup speeds being faster if you disable addons.

Anyway... unlike you other guys I use the different browsers instead of being loyal to only one. Men are pigs... remember? No loyalty to brands. Not because any one of the does anything better than the others but because I like to have my start page be several tabs worth of sites I visit. That chokes every browser known if you have enough tabs open.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Like DREDIOCK said you can get it as an add-on to Firefox as well, Firefox can do just about anything I.E can do, and usually do it better.
