For plastic model guys.
« on: February 16, 2011, 07:20:44 AM »
NOT THAT KIND!!! Jeeeez.

I'm currently getting set up to build a 1:48 scale Bf109-f from Airfix. In the cockpit it calls for Humbrol #92 paint.

I went to Humbrol's site and couldn't find a #92 paint.

Does anybody know what the Tamiya or Testors equivalent is? I'd prefer the Tamiya version, because that's what our local shop stocks mostly.

Thanks in advance.

This might be helpful, although it doesn't have all the info you need.

Thanks Norm, good info there. I did some searching (like I should have in the first place) and came up with this guys site.

Between the two of them I should be all set.

I believe a 109f cockpit would be RLM 66 Schwarzgrau.  Testors has a RLM 66 paint and I also believe Humbrol 32 is a decent sub?
