« on: February 19, 2011, 02:20:16 AM »
As the name says. they did see lots of combat, especialy being dropped on japanese towns and cities.

these videos tell the story of the of the bombings of japan and tokyo.
i believe it has the nuke in it, and no this topic is not about that bomb, only fire bombs.

the footage is from "The Last Bomb"

it's been asked before, but the inclination was that they would be frame rate killers.  besides, there's nothing really to burn in the game.

i know they been asked for before, and i used the search button. if they were added i seen them more used for those special servers that do like the BoB(Battle of Britain) and other type of historical air battles. that did see the use fire bombs.since we got the B-29 i hope to see a historical bombing of tokyo scenario.

10 guys in B-29s with 3 drones, all with 80 100lb firebombs. That's approximately 240,000
pounds of ordinance in a small, concentrated area.

Sure, I'm all for extra ordinance options, but something tells me if we add smoke and fire,
this just wouldn't be feasible for lower-end PC's.

It's not how many people this particular ord killed , its about how much it was used, and its about how long it was used and how many were used. and i think this should be added mostly in part becuase it was used alot. and idk if this is true or not but i think B-29s dropped more incediary bombs then convetional ords.

yeah. but if they do add these bombs and change the mechanics or add fires and smoke. these will mostly be used on city bombing runs, thats if we ever get to see those again. its been 2 or 3 years since i been on a big more then 10 20 peoplebombing raid. sure it was done on a field capture run but it worked.
