2nd: Are you saying WWI arena should be removed? If you mean the Korean part of the cold war, then yes, if you mean 60s+ then no, I don't want to real a 1000 page book for each airplane.

Only people who get killed by a 262 are the ones who do not pay attention to their surroundings.

I would be of the opinion this is a wish that someone who is concerned with base taking makes.  No 262s means less horde busting in a hurry.  I don't believe this is a concern for air to air combat.

A goon driver's nightmare: A 262 in the area can effectively prevent any goon reaching town no matter how big your horde is - unless some friendly is flying a 262 too. But then, with horde often comes ENY ...

I was winging a 262 with Amaze yesterday, and we ran into a bishop heavy jug then a mass goon mission. This topic is probably referring to that.
