They were waiting for you to accept the job Bableon.

Seriously. Who do you folks think guard US embassies over seas now?

it's private security contractors, not US marines.  Think Joe Plumber
turned "foyer defender" cares much beyond the paycheck?

(to talk about who set this crap up would go straight into politics)

Why any Americans would even consider traveling to some of these countries is a complete mystery to me. Just doesn't seem like the brightest of travel plan ideas.

But I hope for your sake they manage to get hoe again safe N sound. And soon.

They been in Libya for the last three years teaching.

Some folks like to live on the edge. The 4 Americans on the captured sailing vessel knew they were in dangerous waters. They chose to take the risk and seperated from the other vessels. All 4 people are now dead because of somali pirates.

I hope these folks get out ok.

Cool.  Just confirming that they were over there teaching Christianity. That would be like swimming among sharks with a full chum bucket attached to your diving gear.

Hmmm, I looked at the websites for the individual schools and didn't find any religious curriculum or religious motivation in any of their mission statements.

American school of Tripoli is run by the U.S. Department of State's Office of Overseas Schools. The site says that they will be closed until March 6th. (We shall see about that.)

Hope everyone gets out safe.

LOL, just math.  I am now talking to his brother.  He is not sure if his brother and wife got on the ferry or not.  Communication is leak as they keep turning the internet and cellphone towers off.

Hope they make it out of there soon  :pray

It sounds like the protestors have control of the east of the country (or at least, Gaddafi doesn't have control of it).  Either way, that's probably a good thing.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Most of the article aside, it has some information on U.S. Embassy and how we are getting our people out.

Hopefully your family is on the ferry.
