I downloaded the Spit 14 #5 skin.  The .res file appears when I paste into the HTC skins folder but not the accompanying folder that goes with the .res file.

How to fix?

get the skin name and download it from the hangar.

I don't have any folders inside my skins folder, so I'm not sure what you mean...

If you're looking to edit the skin, then as far as i know you can only access the default skins, not custom ones.

You can get the full folder by saving the skin from the skin viewer, used to be able to do this in the hanger but doesn't look like you still can?

EDIT

just checked, you can right-click on any aircraft in the hangar view and save the default skin.

The resource (.res) files do not belong in folders.  All of the resource files are in the "skins" folder.

The only time you need a plane folder is when you are creating a skin.
