Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

I was watching the action online earlier. Not sure whats causing the issue but for a lot of people the game was laggy and drones very often disappear under those conditions. I think its wise to wait until the majority of players get their game updated before spending all your perks on testing the 29.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I agree.  What is the perk cost of the 29?

i flew it in the training room for about 45 minutes before going into "battle"
cruising along at about 20 k  with twenty fivehundred pound bombs, one gunner,25% fuel, squaddie escorting me......./BOOM lost two drones in level flight
no reason. I know we wanted this plane hell even begged for it but 200 hundred perks lost because I flkew it straight and level?? did we rush this thing a little???
oh and I saw atleast 3 complaints of the same thing happening in the short time i was on tonight. gave up for the night, with my in game issues[bouncy arse controls] I am not able to be competitive inna fighter so I bomb.
oh and I have NEVER lost drones in level flight, until the B-29 came along

Took a set up tonight offline. Takeoff, climb, cruise and 1st bomb run went fine. I initiated a shallow bank to make a large teardrop turn for a 2nd run and both my drones disappeared.  I saw no flak hits and I know my angle of bank was not excessive.
I sent a film to the HTC crew.  I hope they can find something fixable.

Alt + tabbing will cause the B-29's drones to explode.

Alt + tabbing will cause the B-29's drones to explode.

Any lag will often cause any drones to explode. Starting a film for the first time (me), vox, loading new terrain or skins on an old machine.

The FE loses track of the drones due to lag and the primary a/c continues along. The drones get too "far away" and blow up.

How many unnecessary processes do you have running?

thank you for the help,I have FISTA op for now so I probably have too many processes running, frankly I get intimidated when I go to shut these down, the film shows a good tight formation,I was making a small rudder turn from my gunner position,so my initial post of straight and level may have been false :o
I have a Dell xps 420 that is 2 years old,not able to buy new :frown:
