Help..Aceshigh stopped working.exe

Stglr, I need to see a DXDIAG output from your computer.

All of you who are getting a crash when you click on any arena in the arena list on the clipboard, try the following.

1) Navigate to your Aces High installation folder.
2) Make a copy of "aceshigh.exe" named, "bob.exe".  Do not rename the original file!
3) Now, double-click on "bob.exe" and see if it allows you to get into the arena.

If it works, then problem you have is related to a firewall on your computer.

Copied and renamed bob.exe , when i double click,  message states -"This application has failed to start because ms32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

 ms32.dll   is listed in the redist file dated 1-26-11   397kb

Nope.  Same problem.  This is before arena selection screen, also.  I can't even get to there.

Mine keeps changing to the date of last install.  Right now all the Miles stuff has a date of 2.24.2011 1:39 pm (date of fresh re-install) and the rest of the files have the 1.26.2011 dates.  

This is getting really frustrating.

Check the date on the mss32.dll file in the game "redist" folder.  It should be 1/26/2011.  Now, check the same file in the root installation for the game and it should be a match.  If not, then copy the "mss32.dll" file from the "redist" folder to the root game installation folder.

If the "Date Modified" is not listed in the columns, then right-click on the column list and select it from the menu that pops up.

We are working on why some computers have this problem and most do not.  Pyro is soliciting players that are having this issue.  Read this.

Both are the same date... today's.  The rest of the files in the redist are 1.26.2011.
