Thank You: Hanger Doors Opened
« on: February 23, 2011, 11:00:31 PM »
You opened the hanger doors!!  Thank you, thank you.

This may not seem like a big deal, but it is a great way to practice.  You really have to have control of the plane to fly through those things.

I been flying though them before, thought that small hole.  :airplane:

Which plane.  I can't do that in a P38, the wingspan is too great.

Or are you just pulling my leg?   :bolt:

RV8  :noid

I think Spit16 & 190s should be able to do it as well, they have fast roll rate. But I have not tried.

I was flying them through the hangars in the TA the other day, come to think of it I think you were in there.

I also like landing the rv8 and dr1 in town.

its not really that hard to fly a P-38 through a fighter hangar. Offline, it took me about 10 trys to do it.

Different hangar, the bomber hangar used to have doors that were only slightly open on one end.  Certain planes could squeeze through if you rolled at just the right time.

I flew the La7, Spit16, RV8, Yaks, Brewster, I16, Fm2 all through that little opening in the TA many times. Fun once you get the hang of it.

I can tell you where the problem is.  You are in a P-38 not the P-47.    :D
