The Fulmar could certainly find use in various special events.   :aok

However, any time it ran into competent in-period enemy fighters (Bf-109E, A6M2, C.R.202, etc.) it would be very hard-pressed to survive.  Even the later Fulmar Mk.II, with the 1,300 HP Rolls-Royce Merlin 30, could only manage a top speed of about 270 MPH, flat-out.  That's around 100 MPH slower than the fighters it faced.  The Fulmar is a lot like the earlier Battle, and that poor turkey was simply meat on the table whenever it ran into any decent opposition.

Yeah the Battle was a suicide aircraft no less, I am not sure what was worse - that or the Douglas TBD Devastator, both were underpowered - undergunned, both got wiped out on an occasion and given up after that. Simply heroic what the crews did flying them knowing they were in deep trouble.

I certainly hope neither get put in game, other then for historical context.

Its a pretty interesting aircraft, I don't know the complete details on it but on paper it looks like a pretty great aircraft for a carrier based, kinda curious if it would be perked or not.

Ive been screaming for this plane since forever. Britain was a major player in the air, and in the naval air. We currently have ONE British industry CV plane and thats a shame. The Firefly would be a fine addition.

I've been requesting the B and C Hurricane (naval version) and the Firefly to upgrade the Carrier list of aircraft.

All seen combat, shot down planes - and fought in several different theaters.

The Hurri B would simply have 12x 303s and pair of 250lb bombs, where Hurri C is the same one we have now with an arresting hook added.

How about the Swordfish?  It crippled the Bismark, sank half the Italian fleet at Taranto.  Beautiful aircraft.

As long as we're talking Fairey products I would love to see the Barracuda added as well.
