I think that they used black rounds.  Being in a populated area, that is a lot of led falling back to earth and hurt somebody.

Personally, the way they reload the chamber like that dose seem a bit dangerous......especially they the second column so close behind the first column.

If someone ADs at my funeral I'm going to be pretty upset.

Yes, those were blanks.  They had to cycle the bolt carrier each time because there isn't enough pressure in the gas system to operate it without a bullet traveling down the barrel.

Why they chose such ridiculous positions to carry out a rifle salute is beyond me.  I'll be upset about that at my funeral too.  At least it was just a beret and not an ear or something.

I'd be pretty amused if an ear came off at my funeral, though...

Wow. To the guy's credit he didn't jump or flinch, instead he continued on as you would expect a professional to do.
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

Yea, but the whole line timing is off.

Thats true, if done correctly it is suppose to sound like one bang instead of many close together

the entire thing seemed pretty haphazard, was pretty sad hope that was just a fluke...the Poles Ive ran into always seem very on point.
props to the guy for just a flinch and moving on.

Blanks can be lethal too, many years ago a cadet here was killed by one discharged accidentally at close range towards his abdomen.
