I'm up and running and I'd like to thank all of you who helped with some of my technical difficulties... quick rundown of what i did and pricing. (which i thought was a good deal for a decent upgrade)

EVGA 790i FTW Mobo--  FREE
Intel Core 2 6600 processor--FREE
G.SKILL RIPSAW 2X2 Gb.--$44.99
Cougar CMX 700 PSU-- $101.99
EVGA GTX460SC EE  ---$174.99
Seagate Barracuda 500 Gb HD--$53.00

$375.00 and a couple dozen hours of head banging.
After viewing the terrain as it was meant to be seen...worth every dime.          :salute

brother had it, he upgraded and had this laying around..lol  now i have a spare laying around.
