Yep, I can do that anytime on any map offline in the CM Eye mode.  It's not supposed to happen online though.  Would be helpful to know the map and the base so perhaps they can fix that.

Had same thing happen to me 2 weeks ago, Bailed over town, Went to go inside the map room and going down the stairs I fell through the map and it looked just like his screen =] Will try and make a video later see if i can do it again

I did find one thing that could possibly cause it in the stairs.

that was some time back, it may have been fixed already. I backed into a wall and got the flippy spinny thing, then ended up under the town.
