Black and White
« on: March 02, 2011, 09:28:39 AM »
Hello All:

Being a lover of World War Two aviation, my wallpaper on my laptop is almost always a photograph of some warbird.  In particular, I really love good B&W photographs that were actually taken during the war.  To me, it just adds that more history and realism seeing an actual photo taken during combat of these beautiful birds.

I am starting this thread to start a sort of "collection" of wartime photographs of the many fighters, bombers, trainers, and other aerial vehicles used during the Second World War.

Please feel free to post any pictures you have found on the internet, in books, or personal photos.

I'll start:

I found all of these using Google Images, and they have become some of my favorites.

Thanks for viewing
