Updated Tunisia map
« on: March 05, 2011, 07:27:15 PM »
Flew on it last night in the FSO and it looks great.
I was doing a little messing around today working on a Tobruk setup. I was thinking about subing the G4M for an Italian bomber.
It's like somebody on the map crew has been reading my mind.  :D

I didn't even know a default skin could be terrain specific. That's pretty cool. Wish they would have given the I-16 a similar skin to sub as a C 200.

I had asked USRanger once about the default skins.  His answer made a lot of sense, especially with the magnificent job he does with details.

The files for the default skin have to included in with the terrain files, therefore taking up addition space.  He had rather use that space to build the terrain.  It would be awesome if we could control such a thing but, unless everyone has the skin or it is a part of the terrain, that is the only way to achieve it.

Shifty, nice catch.  I was wondering, since daddog had  been playing with the no enemy icons, what were the icon settings for the FSO?

When it comes to skins in the AvA, it'd be nice if some skin recommendations relevant to the setup would be posted in the MoTD, but that's just extra work I guess... I try and figure out what the most applicable skin(s) would be used, which is why in this current setup, we do have a 20th P-38J, but it's all metal.. I'd think at this time in the war they'd still be using olive camo for the most part...
