I got this idea from JB11 when he had a certain fight against lothmog.

It's one of the 396 excuses for being killed in a cartoon plane  :devil

It happens, I had a desk go flatpack on me once. The whole thing folded sideways with only my computer holding it up.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

During the S3 in Warbirds (kind of like the FSO here) a few years back a buff pilot lost his monitor, just went black but everything else was working.  The were on the return leg of the mission and a squadmate of his winged up tight and talked him to the base and got him landed on the runway, completely blind.  I saw a film from the guy that got him home, was truly awesome.

LMAO

I swear it's true!!!    :rofl

I was just loitering around a "contested" area in a P51 where I had stumbled across a few other enemy fighters when a 262 shows up, we fought it out for a little bit, I tried to pull for a lead shot on one of our close merges and all of a sudden the keyboard drawer for my desk jumps the rails (I rest my joystick on the desk drawer while flying) and falls to the floor.  Here I am holding my joystick in mid-air trying to fight against JB-11 in a 262... didn't work out so well for me in the end   (I'm quite certain JB-11 could have pulled off the win even without my desk plotting against me  ;))

This also happened to me, was flying a B-26 during an FSO event and the power chord was evidently loose on the back of the monitor.  5 seconds before dropping bombs my monitor shut off, ended up missing my drop, and got separated from the rest of the group during egress before I figured out what the heck was up.

Glad you liked it Lothmog! JB11 sent me a screen shot of the text after that fight. He thought it would make a great cartoon!  <S>

So far my count is 4 joysticks and 3 keyboard trays, or rather the same tray 3 times.. gotta remember to stomp feet, not slam joystick. :joystick:
