New Base-take Proceedure.
« on: March 06, 2011, 06:17:19 PM »
  • WHEREAS: No more than eight (8) aircraft may be inside the target base radar circle; and
  • WHEREAS: No more than twenty-thousand (20,000) pounds of collective ordinance may be inside the target base radar circle; and
  • WHEREAS: If at any time the defending team calls the term "furball", all attacking aircraft are required to release ordinance immediately and begin in air to air combat until which time the defending team calls the term "uncle"; and
  • WHEREAS: No more than one (1) attempt may be made with any troop carrying vehicle or aircraft to capture the target base; and
  • WHEREAS: If at any time the defending team calls out the term "time", or "timeout", or "hold", or "wait", or any other word or combination of words that would imply a pause in the attack, all attacking aircraft and vehicles are required to exit the radar circle until the defending team declares a resume in fighting; and
  • WHEREAS: If any attacking aircraft or group of attacking aircraft are within two-point-five kilometers (2.5k) from any enemy contacts, they are required to fight the enemy contacts first, and only when clear of all enemy contacts within 2.5k of the target base are allowed to attack said base; THEREFORE
RESOLVED: All further base takes will only occur in these terms to allow for fairness and consideration to all pilots of defending countries, because apparently taking bases any other way is just "uncool" and like so dumb but mostly uncool and stupid and stuff...

I disagree.

Getting overwhelmed sucks but it's just part of the general war concept.

I'd like to see more suprise introduced to the game as well.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Sounds like this idea has hit the head on the nail, he obviously has identified the most possible and viable solution yet through all his years of playing.....    ;)

Dammit, you beat me to it Ten. I really wanted to make "The Official Revised Devil's Brigade Base Taking Manual" whenever I got around to it.
