I have some dash lights (double red)

When I'm not going to car shows I throw a red bulb in the driver side on the front.

(had a siren but I had to remove it after the wreck)

Man your guys SOPs are a lot nicer then ours. Not being visible from the side is a huge no no around here. We have to have a least one light that can be seen from 360 degrees and at least a 100watt siren. Anything else is just for fun. But hey as long as it still looks clean its all good. If you cant make it to the station safely then how can you help those who are calling for it is the thought process around here. Lights = safety no matter how big of a KD it may make you seem like.

(You guys are lucky! I wish we didn't have to have a light on top, looks so much nicer with out one! Notice how the ugly brick on top really tosses the whole smooth look out the window. ( Strobes, 2x red grilles, 1x red dash, wig wags, 2x grille lights mounted in tail hitch area, whelen mini led light bar)

End Hijack

Great work on the car you did some serious work to that girl and it shows! She looks absolutly great, sucks about the deer though. O well least you'll have fun working to get her better then ever!

when you first posted the pics in the other thread, i was wondering if it was really a mercedes or not. because i think its body looks more like a subarus wrx than a mercedes or acura.

:aok :aok :aok :aok :aok  :aok :aok :aok :aok :aok very nice man!
Yeah we don't need the "brick" or "bar" up here. (I live in a small community so traffic is light.).
Our siren is a minimum of 100 watts though sooooo lol.

Which brand do you use? I'm looking to get a new setup (siren - starting over).

Looks like you guys are using the older bricks (which are smurfy), look into newer low-profile LED ones, they've been out for a while and are sooo much nicer and sleeker than the old-fashioned bricks.

I've seen half-sized or mini versions on LACFD SUVs, their strobe is also a brighter, cleaner and crisper light.

Wow, smurfy, really?

all those interior shots...you should post those in the "distracted driver" discussion...i'm surprised you haven't driven that thing into something besides a deer.

with all the work you did on that (nice job too)...some of your accessory/gauge mounts could have been placed a bit "smarter"...a custom dash with an intelligently designed instrument panel would go a long way in adding to the visual appeal and road safety.

This is what I plan on doing to the dash:

Thank you for the compliment. Yeah, the gauges on the left could be a bother but the bulbs are dim.

Road safety is a big thing for me. I've gone on calls and it been a personal friend who got messed up or DOA. Bad stuff, makes me a much safer and more aware driver.

One of the most fun things about this car is I get to smash retards who scream "RICER!!!!!!!!"....it's only a ricer if you intend to race and the car is all show....*sigh*
I'm trying to fix this car (still waiting on the bumper) and my truck at the same time.....they got wrecked 2 days apart. (I let a buddy who just got back from Iraq use my truck to move for a week. He was bringing it back and got hit by a Nissan Altima.......)

Ripped out the drive shaft, bent the straight axle, smashed in the wheel, shoved the bottom of the bed underneath itself, damaged the shock....got it all ready except the truck bed which is waaaaaaay out of my price range atm....another reason I'm looking forward to the deployment.

  you're having the worst luck with cars man...  :lol ...must be some sort of homing device on them. that altima had to be going pretty fast to do that much damage to your truck...no insurance or was your buddy at fault?

i saw a dash in an eclipse that had the tach, speedo, fuel, water, oil, turbo, nos and something i didn't recognize...it was a nice setup...was surprised at the dash in that tiny little car but it worked well.

hahaha yeah no kidding! 2 days apart :/ It sucked lol

She was hauling butt. She was on the phone, speeding, slammed on the breaks after topping the hill and seeing him making a left turn.
He got fined for failure to yield when making a left....after I explained the physics of the accident and told the officer there was absolutely no way to disprove she was speeding. His only answer, "The skid marks aren't long enough to prove anything."......

It's as if science means nothing...
