Gimme a break. More times then not, by a wide margin. the bases the hordes attack are either nearly undefended or completely undefended.
So why isn't anyone defending? True hordes rarely go NOE because they contain newbs who can't fly under 65 feet. It takes 2 minutes to get from the edge of the dar circle to the field. That's more than enough time to organize a defense if anyone wants to. It's certainly enough time to get a goon hunt up or get a few tanks on the way to town. If it's 30 on 2 that just shows that only 2 guys out of 150-200 in your country (since it's TT) care enough to bother to defend a field under attack. That's not the attackers' fault.
Or do you mean it's bad form to attack a field that doesn't already have a large number of defenders in the air before the attack gets anywhere near it? But why would any attacker do something as stupid as to throw away at least some degree of tactical surprise? That's not only dumb in war, it's dumb in any game I've ever heard of. You don't pass the ball into the biggest knot of defenders you can find just to prove how much better your receiver is!
