Four Wheeler update status
« on: March 12, 2011, 12:59:42 PM »
Rather than wait 5 months to get a four wheeler, I'm personally going with a go kart since i can get it sooner, and its more practical for air soft and driving on roads. http://www.powersportsmax.com/product_info.php/cPath/40/products_id/14675 Thats the Official Choice  Wanted to know what yall thought.
Side note:I Need a vehicle thats practical for airsoft, thats why I chose a go kart over a four wheeler

Go-karts are alot safer than 4-wheelers IMO

Yeah a harness is very appreciated! Its also already made to be street legal, It has reverse lights, turn signals and brake lights. You would only need to register it. But i'm more concerned with the air soft role. Imagine welding on a .50 cal machine gun on the front  :lol

In many places you can register a side x side and drive on the road.
I prefer something more suited to my needs like a Yamaha Rhino, which I have.
It boils down to what you want to do with it. Don't jump on one just because you can get it now. Be patient and get what you really want.

It is what i want, its speedy, safe, and is perfect for hunting and air soft. I thought about choices for a week then it boiled down to this one.

I don't need a very large engine, its carry capacity is almost 400 pounds and can go 45+ MPH

It says 45+ mph depending on rider weight and road conditions. I'm a tooth pick so I assume there won't be a speed issue?  :uhoh

you ever drive 45mph across rough terrain? take a real close look at the design of that thing...45mph would be on blacktop with the wind at your back...considering the fact that you don't have a lot of driving experience on the road let alone off road...don't go over 20mph off road...save yourself some pain and money.

I have my learners, and i drive on the high way quite often. I mean 45 like on streets is possible right? Off road I wouldn't expect to go fast off road.
But is there anyway i could improve the engine? Maybe add more power? Like an engine swap or something later?
