War winning and arena flop

Situation; Just landed, red horde everywhere  click SE on runway rollin a jet, get up go mix a white russian, decide to change a burnt out bulb on climbout, pass the computer otw to the closet, glance at screen and see a whole bunch of crap goin on (doesn't look good) I realize someone just won the war, arena bases flopped and my jet is recieving tater enemas from field guns.


How about leave the bases the way they were when the war was won? Or any kills/deaths after the victory are null and void?

I have never understood why the bases do that whole shift thing.

For the sake of making sense.

+1 to just leaving the bases where they are at.

I must admit to chuckling (sorry Jug), as this has happened to me as well.  +1 to leaving the fields as is until the arena bowl is flushed.

The arena resets the base ownership for the next time it comes up in the rotation.
If you're still flying when the arena dumps you, the sortie is thrown away as if you never upped.

  Yeah I know, If I'm gonna lose perks I'd rather lose them to something stupid that I did NOT to anything that is completely out of my control! 

Maybe delaying the ack response 3-5 minutes would be fine, Hell i don't even know if it's possible
