Climb To Alt in a Bomber and the Arena Resets
« on: March 20, 2011, 01:15:33 AM »
If your a bomber pilot on the Pacific Coast forget flying in the MA later in the evening.

Every night you climb to alt and they reset the arena For NO Benefit

Forget it

10 Minutes to get down? "We are closing the Arena in 10 Minutes"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It took me a half an hour to get to altitude...Now I am supposed to land in 10 minutes?

Screw it

I know what you mean  :rofl :furious

Good thing my spit14 climbs fast, so it's not as bad. But usually my first sorti of the the night I just turn back to base after getting to my cruise alt.

Simple fix.

Have HTC  give warning 1/2 hour or even later when the arena is going to reset. Then there are no excuses for people upping perked bombers only to loose them via reset.

So you chose to ignore the "We Are Locking the Arena in 10 Minutes" warning before that and kept climbing?

They did give you 20 minutes warning.

You do this every night and still do not learn it's happening at the very same time each day?  :headscratch:

It caught me out when the US went to summer time before Europe (three sectors over the front line and I get 20 mins to rtb while I thought I had another 80). But I think every good bomber pilit should plan ahead ?

You don't lose perks due to a reset.

Couple things.

1. You do not lose the perks when the reset happens.  Just so long as you stay up when you get disco'd.

2. I wish HTC would give a 30 minute warning as well.  What's the harm?

Nope just 10mins, seems Auto changed it again. Map was a snore anyway. Still think the change should happen at 1am PST. I guess there's alot of euros  on a that time. :noid

And the same time every day.

Suggestion. Most people these days own cell phones. Most cell phones have an alarm clock function. There are websites that allow you to create your own ringtones for free or download one of theirs for free.

Create or set one up for AH.
For example I have one to wake me up in the morning thats the screeching Violin sound from the shower scene in the movie "Psycho" I use to wake me up in the morning (It also serves as the custom ring tone I use for my wife  :D )
