Sorry to burst bubbles, but that is an old vid. A good number of browncoats tried to start a campaign to give him the money to buy the rights, but he put the Kabosh on it himself.
There is a rumor of a sequel to the film, but at this point is is still just a rumor, and unvalidated at that.
I would be excited to see another season too, but given Fox's track record, it is extremely unlikely to ever happen.
Fox is just too good at pulling defeat from the jaws of victory when it comes to good SciFi, look at how they also deliberately trashed the Alien franchise. (Though there are rumors of a possible Aliens sequel that would ignore the garbage and pick up from the end of Aliens, but that rumor is also unvalidated at this point in time.)
