I seriously believe my daughter will be my nemesis, she's 2½ and have wasted my X52 controller. Let's see how long the next one will last... her.  :joystick:

I had to  :rofl pretty hard about that. While ago my six year old decided he wanted to be helpful and clean my X52 with water. Thankfully I was able to get it dry enough but the damage was done. Still useable, just had to mess with my settings little bit.

As for my nemesis: Anyone who doesn't fly a pony.
Fellow Pony nemisis: Despite him and I butting heads couple of times, I would have to say Muzik. I can have the adv. and he still manages to shoot me down.

Clearly you don't know me. I HO very little these days, but with a name like HOtard, it's a cross I must bear  (apologizes to jugglar, I did HO him the last time we fought. Paid for it too. It was however after a long duel, and I wish I had avoided it, but figured if I did I would just be giving him an open shot)

So why HOtard?? It’s for you hypocrites out there that HO, loose then whine.
HO’s happen. Get over it
If you get HO’ed, shame on you. It’s the easiest move in the world to avoid.
An opponent shooting at you anywhere in your forward hemisphere does not mean you got HO’ed.
If you think HO’s didn’t happen in WWII ALL THE TIME, I suggest you go back to the books and read more accounts of actual combat.

The H.O. is a perfect legitimate shot. I don't like it when it happens but the only thing I can do is rethink what I could have done better. One thing about fighting the muppets is you know they  won't HO. Well generally. That leaves you to focus on the next ACM. They will go for the high deflection though. hehe.

H.O.ing is a bad move because it means your late to initiating your next move & your not moving your plane to where the guy will be next. Basically, if you ho and miss, you lost the fight.
Yeah, that's right, you just got your rear handed to you by a fuggly puppet!

You are assuming 2 craft of similar manuverability. For a P-51 vs a Spit, there is no ability to outmanuver it. A 190a8 with heavy guns package against 90% of the planeset is dead meat. It's not that the HO is bad because it negates the next move (I agree in general, though) it's perfectly valid because sometimes it's the only option.

For 2 similar craft with moderate manuverability I agree setting up for the HO if the other guy sets up for the merge is a bad move. You blow E and possible position for a quick pot shot. I know when I see somebody do that to me I have the upper hand..... that is.... IF they manuver. 90% of the time a HO just runs outside icon range before it's clear to turn back.

My experience with the Muppets is (generally) that if you engage 1 there will be another to take you out
