Head postion changes.
« on: March 16, 2011, 09:57:33 AM »
Has anybody noticed that when your head postion is forward of the default head postion, and in certain aircraft, not all, that in a negitive G manuver your saved head postion will change aft with the movement of the stick ?

This is differant than hanging in the straps. Some of the aircraft that I have tried this in and have produced this effect are the 190A-5, 190D-9, P47M, P51-D. The aircraft that do not have this effect are the A6M5b, B-239, C-205, Ki-84.

There are other aircraft that do and do not have this effect that I have tried. but with these few I think maybe you can get the idea. I have not tried every plane in the set just 15 of them...  Yes I know, I have to much free time...

I have all CH gear into a 5v 5.0 amp USB hub and Track IR. The TrackIR was not on for this test. I also uninstalled the TrackIR driver to make sure there was no conflict with AH and TrackIR. Here is a short version of my DxDiag.

The AH film viewer will not capture this effect.

I see this all the time in the 51d. It hasn't been bad enough to log as a bug. I had thought that the view was somehow tied into pushing the stick forward, hadn't really looked to see what the G meter was doing.
