Help with Sounds.
« on: March 24, 2011, 01:12:54 PM »
Guys I have a authentic B-29 start and engine idle. The only problem is the start-up is only 2 seconds long. It covers the first crank, fire and then done. Any suggestions on how best to use it.

gary, you could copy a portion that you want repeated through the sequence and paste it as many times as needed to get the effect you want...

I notice that in sound files there are 3 parts to the engine sounds. ENG, ENGstart, and eng off. Is there anything special I have to do when I loop the engine that will make the pitch change as you increase the throttle?

for engine start, don't worry about the pitch so much...it only has to be 6 to 8 seconds long...then it will transition to where the eng file takes over and that's where your actual engine sound is.
