Fantastic restoration :)

Some of the Corsairs lately have really taken it up a notch in terms of detail and authenticity.  Hope that that Brewster Corsair gets the same treatment at Ezells :)

Kohn's war is one to be wary of.  Kohn took experiences of other 38 pilots and attributed it to himself.  The guys in the 1st FG were greatly offended by his falsifying his wartime experience.  There was an Air Classics article years ago by a guy who flew with Kohn in the 1st FG and he tears it apart bit by bit.

I can't see this Air Classics article in the list, but the Aviation Index has a pretty good magazine article index (once you scroll past all the books) related to the P-38. It's by no means complete, but a good reading list if you have access to the magazines.

"Aces High" by Bill Yenney is also another good read. It is about Dick Bong and Thomas McGuire during their time in the South West Pacific.
