There are trainers that can teach you how to fly.

No.  If you want to GV unmolested there is an area in the DA that has been set aside.  The fact is you're playing in the main arena and can't expect others to leave you alone just because you're in a ground vehicle.

I see nothing wrong with what we currently have. All bases have a VH, so you can always stay in a tank. Yes, you might be bombed, but it's not like that did not happen in real life. Also as Ack-Ack said there is a place in DA where you have only tanks.

you are missing the point and trainers can not help me  :-(.

rapid action, fast turn around, and there are plenty that do not like/enjoy flying in the game.

This is not the game that you can learn it one day, it takes time. I been here for 5 (or 6) years and there are people who are better than me.

Maybe Aces High isn't the game for you if you only enjoy GVing.

many only enjoy GV'ing for many reasons!!!  I am much better at GV's than flying, I think this is the best GV game i have found,, I have no problem at all with an only GV arena and don't understand why anyone would !
 it is true that the DA has a GV area,, it  would be nice if it was the old GV Tank town tho!  anyway I hope you stay and play.

Maybe there are more guys who only GV here than I expect.  However, if you're not willing to accept that airplanes are flying around you while you're doing it, then I stand by this might not be the game for you.

I'd love the idea of a tank only arena with multiple rotating maps to change the terrain...

BUT...

what would happen to the MA if the tankers leave? :(

I suspect many of them have already left and moved over to WoT where there are no planes.



AH already has many of the features that WoT players dream of, bigger maps, no icons, better physics modeling, Development team with no bias, etc.

With WoT going live mid April, AH might want to offer a tank only alternative.

I guess it comes down to your point of view.

Do tanks exist only in AH to serve as targets for airplanes?
If that is truly your view then there is no need to change anything.

Or are they of equal importance to Aircraft, just a different way of playing the same game.
And if that truly is the case then a GV only arena is long overdue.

Put it on an island, put ports, task force's around the outside. Make it possible to do a Amphibious assault, as well as just tanks.

Build it and they will come.
