This just isnt right
« on: March 26, 2011, 10:27:42 PM »
OK, so over spring break I went skiing in Colorado with our church youth group. I got back into town on Friday and my mom came to pick me up. After she picked me up, we went to a pharmacy (i got a sunburn on my face that blistered up, i guess it isnt smart to not wear sunscreen at 12,000 feet) so we could get some stuff for my face. Then, we went to Sonic and got something to eat. When we got home, I went to the back door because I noticed one of my mom's cats laying down. After I got to the door, I saw the cat was bloody and barely breathing. My first thought was that it got attacked by a dog, but I noticed only 2 holes and thought that was weird. I got my mom and she came over to the door with me and said the same thing. It looked like her cat got attacked by a dog, so she left to bring the cat to the vet and I stayed home. After my mom got back, she told me what the vet had found. They found 2 .22 hollow point rounds in the cat. Who would want to shoot a cat? Seriously, our cat is the nicest thing you'll ever see. We get to bring it home from the vet tommorow and send the bullets to the police.

It looks like you never got over your days as an altar boy. :devil

But seriously folks, the cat probably tried to remove someone's face.  It nearly bled out, but you came to the rescue in the nick of time.  I hate cats, though, and my opinion may be biased.

I shoot the heck outta wild cats, but If its someone from the area who knows its your cat that messed up. I live in the middle of no where so I know who owns what cats.
and Ive been know to provide a bit of overwatch to the known cats of the area when dealing with wild cats. :D

Something like this?

Pet Cat: Overwatch this Razor 2 actual, we've got a feral in sector zero-two-zero-alpha
Overwatch: Copy that ground team, what is your request?
Pet Cat: Requesting one salvo of three Varmint Grenades, indirect fire
Overwatch: Roger... bang! bang! bang!  Tangos neutralized, Razor 2 you're cleared to proceed
Pet Cat: Understood Overwatch, Razor 2 out

people are messed up - like the guy who shot my puppy with a 12 guage....she got lucky...so did he.
I drove her to the hospital with my strobes on and after she was taken care of I proceeded to beat that man within an inch of his life and take his shotgun as my own then call the police and hand it over to them.

He now rots in jail.
Possession with intent to distribute
Child support he hadn't pain in years
Warrant out in another state
Endangering several children
Animal Cruelty

I really hope your cat is okay. People are messed up.

My cat was recently shot with a .22, too.

I also live in a small town where everyone knows everyone, including their pets.  Stray cats around my house don't have a chance (especially since I live just outside city limits and am surrounded by fields), but I would never shoot one of my neighbors' pets unless they injured one of my pets.
