It looks dam good compared to the failed attempts at making Captain America in the past. Who is playing Captain America ?

Why does every action/manly movie have to include a love interest? Cant we go back to when action movies was all action and no love stories?!?

Id rather have a Rambo movie then a story intertwined with a romantic fling

looks like it's going to have what the producers believe made the hulk, watchmen, hellboy and ghost rider "live action comic book hero" movies.

i'll save my judgement until after i see it...not going to spend $25 to see it in theater either...i can wait for the dvd.

i've been collecting the comic book hero movies on dvd...batman (not the dark knight stuff), ironman, hellboy, daredevil, ghost rider, fantastic four, blade...captain america might be a good addition.

Actually I think in the original comic book CA did have a love interest.

Yep since 1948

"After Bucky was shot and wounded in a 1948 Captain America story, he was succeeded by Captain America's girlfriend, Betsy Ross, who became the superheroine Golden Girl"

What pisses me off. I remember as a kid getting a box from my grandparents of my fathers old toys. I musta been 8 or 9 at the time. In that box among other things were my fathers renderings of WWII aircraft (which were actually pretty good") a Lionel train set Original 1950s Beetle Baily comic books. And an issue of Capt America where I remember him having a girlfriend and there being talk of Bucky being wounded.. Thats how I knew Capt America had a "love interest".

Sadly. I no longer possess any of the things I receive in the box that day. They would be worth a small fortune right now

In any event. In alot of these old comic books. There was a love interest originally. So to go with that would be true to the originals

IIRC, the same guy who played Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four flicks, Chris Evans.

Eric Bana or Josh Biemel would have been better cast in the movie, IMHO....Thnks

I know the feeling. I traded original Morane Saulnier fighter blueprints that my grandfather gave to me (he was an airplane mechanic among other things during war) when I was 7-8 old.
