i know arena caps are needed but i have a better idea

I think the point is so you could be in line to get in rather than randomly refreshing and trying to get in by chance.

I realize that, but my point is they would be willing to wait in a queue as opposed to continuously trying to get into the full arena (and still waiting to get in), when they could just go into the open arena and actually play.

My goal is to have both arenas open at all times along with both arenas being in a playable state. With the latest changes I believe we are getting closer to that goal.

The queue idea actually would worsen the wait. I believe more people would go in queue vs trying , and then going to the other arena.
This would have the effect of keeping the cap down for a longer period of time and hence be further from my goal of minimizing the arena caped times.

Although I would think it impossible to forever quench the wine, with the good cheese, I do think that if one arena had a small map (always) and the other had a large map (always), much of the debate would disappear.

I was just repeating something I read about the map.
My only issue with any maps is my computer doesn't like some of them. Frame rates in the low teens to single digits and using too much CPU. Memory leaks?

My point was, why not play the game with the other 205 people?

this has been happening all day, you think perhaps you can losen the caps a little more than this?  will allowing a couple more players in blue really turn it into a cesspool?  its been frustratring getting discoed and having to come back to this all day.
