AHII Logo Splash Screen

  The AHII Logo doesn't fill up the whole screen, when using a widescreen monitor.  I tried to re-size the image, to no avail.  It looks great on my 19" CRT monitor using a resolution of 1280 x 1024.  On the LCD though is another story, using 1920 x 1080 (native).  I have black bars on the left & right of the monitor.  The game does fill the screen, just not the Logo.
I've tried other resolution settings and get about the same result.

Thanks for any help.

I think your native resolution might be 1920 x 1200.  Using 1080 would explain the black bars.

Nope, just checked to make sure.  Native is 1920 x 1080.  I'll try that other one though to see if that looks any better.

Do you have black bars playing the game or just the splash screen?

The game looks great.  Fills up the whole screen, without any distortions or stretching.  
I noticed the logo is 1024 x 1024.  I can re-size it, but I don't seem to be able to put it in the game.  I tried a random picture that I had that was 1024 x 1024,
just to see if I could replace the logo.  Didn't work.  I renamed it to the proper name in the AH files, but no luck.

As long as it plays fine in the game, I would leave well enough alone.

Back in the day we had a contest, of sorts. Some really great ideas came forth. All Splash screens have to be the default size in game. You can get full screen with some settings, namely 1024 by 768. (Desktop and Game Settings)
If you change the name you can put your fav in there as well. (if you don't like the current one.)
