A strange thing happened to me yesterday

Another day at AH trying to avoid the altmonkeys attacking a base ....a mustang takes several passes at me as i try to climb out before one of my brothers chases him off...I continue to climb out in my Dora as i see the 51 has a few more on him now ......before i loss site of the mustang i decide to box him up with a quick hit of the tab button...cause I'm like that .....Anyways ...I get to 9k and turn back to see whats what ...things have calm down some but who do i see trying to sneak away ? YA Mr. 51  all beat to hell and bleedin....sooo's I roll in on this guy and get about 1k off him and then.....I let him go....Whats happening to me ?????

HANS was rtb low and fast in his hog....I chased him in my dora for more than 3 minutes and finally I got him in the straight flight...I suppose he was carrying some kills with him....I didn't feel very proud of what I did...but It happened very close to his base..so he showed up again....I clearly had energy advantage on him now.....He ate all my energy and the only thing I could do is running away due to my better acceleration....I didn't!!!! I chopped throttle to zero and let him get close to me at 200 and give him the kill he deversed so much.....


Two weeks ago i was in one of those little islands with one base for each country....I came across a close fight between 2 knights and 1 bish....I decided to just kill the 2 knights and help the bishop...the bishop was chasing one kinght and I had him for a moment in front of me at 200...(the target we all love)....I didnīt open fire...LOL....both knights died....then bishop tried to kill me and he got my engine.....LOL...


2 Days ago me and 2 buddies were capping a base and a 190A8 and a Brew took off....190A8 killed my to buddies....I waiting for him to come to me....he came...with a little more Energy than me.....he was brave.....after 2-3 tight turns I pinged his engine and he was smoking.....he was flying pretty well, but I had the advantage due to the fact that I was flying a Dora in a vertical fight....one last movement and he was dried in front of me at 200D and smoking....I didn't fire....I want him to land those kills.....I COULD NOT OPEN FIRE!!!

It's fair to say that 10 minutes later he did the same with me....he dried my E in his Hog....he was 200D behind me...I was a brick...he didn't open on me!!!

Sometimes it's fun to vulch...but sometimes is much funnier to let a good stick go landing some kills he deverses...

Deverse has got nothing to do with it. 

I don't know, myself I'm a bigger fan of people throwing everything they have at me.  I wouldn't take it as an insult if someone let me go, but it's a 'purer' fight if both sides are committed to all out best effort.  Just MHO, YMMV.

While back I was fighting JAY in his KI
He was just off the feild I took off on mixing it up with a freindly and when he shot him down, I nudged my way in there which he was obliged to fight. Couple freindlies took off from the feild during our 1vs1 in which they were very polite to not jump in.
After he slapped me around like a ragdoll, I reupped and flew to his vicinity to which he informed me on 200 that he only has 30 rounds left but will stay to fight. We had a nice 1vs1 and he got me a second time by this time he ended up being low/slow and an easy target for the other freindlies that were taking off watching the fight. Instead, the freindlies acknowledged the fact and respectfully let him go to land his kills.  to those rooks.

Yes its just a game. But once in a while, its nice to see honor and sportsmanship

I was once in my Hurricane, battle damaged, with a pilot wound. An enemy took one look at me zoomed down for a BnZ pass, I didn't defend it as my pilot passed out. When my pilot awoke the enemy was on my wingtip, did a roll and flew off on his merry way. I landed my victories seeing on 200 "Yep, your a bleeder" "no fun when it's too easy". This rare enemy cared more about having worthwhile fun than victories <S>
