I laughed til I cried too.  I dunno what it is about fishing and boating bloopers - so many funny things can happen I guess.   I think Mr Dance is a national treasure - all that stuff happens to him and yet he never resorts to profanity ("Dad-gum it!).  I think his good nature makes it even more funny.

He did once Oboe but that took a tree falling on him to coax it out.  If they showed more of these I think more people would watch fishing shows.

I was surprised how reserved he was when he closed the tailgate on those poles.

Sorry.  I have no way to prove it, but I think more than a few of these are faker than Fakey McFake from Fakeytown.  He is working that trolling motor just like he works those massive 1.5 pound bass he catches but needs to "work" on reeling in.

Actually, I've witnessed what happens when a trollin' motor mount breaks.  I watched a fellow in a boat about 40-50 yards away struggle with one like he was fending off a lion.  Dad actually started up our boat and head over to help him out, but he was able to get it shut off before we arrived.

btw.. those clips were Bill Dance all the way.  That is the way he is.

So have I.  It isn't that hard to corrall, especially the way he keeps turning it on and off.  He worked that whole assembly like he does those fritos he brings in.
