Sirs, i would really appreciate, if only a couple of you would play the game for a fight. All i see is pick n run, BnZ n run, HO n run. I dont even mind theese anymore, but the "n run" part of it... Its no fun, you wont get a kill, nor do i, just wasting each others time.
Edit. I fly the worst fighter in game, no need to run, im an easy kill.

Hard to play otherwise. Even If I commit to a turn fight with you within 2 min someone else will come and pick either you or me. And more over, in the MA, it seems it's always 10 to 1 either for us or against us. Hard to fight 10-20 cons at a time with only 2-3 friendly to support, half of which will probably be trying to run anyway. Chances are if I turn on someone, I'll give angle to someone else. Only sound strategy is to run. Anything else is not fighting, it's suicide. It's only a virtual suicide, I know, but I like to approach my sims as close to RL as I can. Getting jumped by an angry mob is not my definition of fighting.

lol Puppet      its not about when its many vs many. Over the tank town i often find myself in an 1vs1, then running happens.

When I have no more hope to prevail, I run. I do not continue to turn and watch the enemy slowly getting into positiion for the kill. I do fly to kill, not to get killed. (Though I still regularly fail  ;))


Oh, and LOL too about 109G-6 being "worst fighter" of the game

I've found that when this happens, breaking off a bit and allowing the runner a chance to re-merge will bring many pilots back to the fight.  

If I am in a 1vs1 fight and feel that I am losing, I may "run" in an attempt to either equalize e-states as much as possible or gain enough separation to re-merge and try again.  I will run with the intent to get away if you pilot wound me or damage my aircraft enough that I feel my ability to fight has been significantly reduced.  I don't feel obligated to provide anyone with a kill.
