LOL well it finally happened, the aircraft in question was an ARMED trainer,yes with guns,there is only one left.it had sat out in a field at willow grove PA for years and i used to play on it as a child, it was then restored,spent some time at other facilities while a special bldg was built for it in willow grove pa. it then came back to willow grove for qiute some time. if you look closely at the tail assy area you will see bullet hole repairs from combat. during the original saving restoration process by the bucks county preservation society, it was discoverd that this aircraft had several wooden pieces such as gear door covers and a bulkhead in the nose that were made of an advanced wooden lamination process, regular plywood took their place but the remnants were saved and displayed in willowgrove pa.. this was not a two seat nightfighter...it was a trainer...with guns...that saw combat, very cool.
