What we REALLY need in Aces High...
« on: August 11, 2001, 06:27:00 PM »
(don't ya just love posts that start with that subject line?  :) )

Forget the CT, trains, roads etc. Irrelevant. We need CANADIAN PAINT! Dammit. You gear heads figure out what plane should be introduced. I don't care. Planes don't win fights, markings do! Cripes, we've got a BRAZILIAN plane in here of all things! Where's OUR representation? Come on you Canucks, hear my battle cry and take up the fight! ONWARD EH! RCAF into AH!

hmmm, an hour and all you've gotten is two responces from non-canucks.  I think the rest of your countrymen must be out getting drunk and watching hockey.

I'm curious tho', why would you want a plane with Bob & Doug's picture on it?

...is to let our GUNS do the talkin' not our KEYBOARDS.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

As long as Geddy Lee comes from the radio, I'm open to planes from our northern national park.

LOL

heheheheheh

OK I'm close enough to Canada to agree with Nash on this one. Come on Nate, & Sfly, find em a nice set of canadian markings for a nice obsolete plane.   :)

Hmmm DeHaviland Beaver with a .50 mounted on each float perhaps?    :)

Thanks Ghosth. Mighty nice of ya. That particular plane has got a 1200 pound payload. Now, bear with me here. Enough beer is injected into the typical party keg to achieve a target weight of 159.8 pounds (extra beer that sometimes accumulates on the neck of the keg is vented into a drain, although the system is generally accurate). So, do you know how many kegs of beer that puppy can haul? I did the math. Seven point five. Or more accurately, 7 kegs, 3 cases and four bottles. Not exactly a Lancaster but...

We'll take it! Anything! Throw us a frickin' bone here!

Lets hear your support!

It is time.

Say it with me brothers and sisters!

EH into AH!

We don't get fair and equal representation Nash.

As a true Canadian we have to learn to accept what ever the governing body throws at us.
That would include HTC.

Remember if we do get paint, they'll tax the hell out of it.

Well that's just HORSE PUCKY now aint it???

AINT IT?!!!

I did some fact checking.

The RCAF had a peak wartime strength of 215,200 fighter guys and related people comprising 78 squadrons. It was the fourth largest allied air force.

Do you know what that means in REAL NUMBERS FOLKS?!! That's like 18-26 times the number of Finlandians and about 47 to TWO HUNDRED OR SO times the number of Brazilites!!!! This aint X-Plane and this aint about FEEL! It's a reality dammit!

Those Findlanditians had 96 Aces. Us Canucks had something like 136 Aces give or take some canucks. Who the hell KNOWS how many Brazilarians were Aces.

Battle of Britain? We were there.

Malta? There.

The Western Desert campaigns? There too.

The Pacific? Yup.

Burma, Ceylon and on and on. Been there, done it, flew it, got shot at.

But yet the Finlandinians and Brazilishonians have representation here and the Canadians don't?

This is an outrage. It cannot be tolerated. Speak up now. Write to your local Omnibudsman. If you're not part of the problem you are part of an indirect role in some solution.

'nuff said!
