I know lots of people don’t care for reading long stories so I’ll keep this short. Because there are about 24 pictures, I might have to make several posts. This was so fun, I wanted to share it with everyone. I was defending A78 pretty much by myself. I engaged a Sea fire and got him. When I got back to my base, to high bad guys came in. 109K4 and Spit8. Both were trying to pick me in pass after pass after pass, and have pretty decent tactics, so I was on my toes the entire time. Eventually a friendly in a Zeke did his best to help out but in the end, poor dude died several times before finally giving up. During one engagement, the 109 went off somewhere so I was able to engage the Spit8 as well as I could; he kept his E up very well. During the last few minutes of the fight, I had very low fuel so had to start back towards my base while dodging the baddies. I did eventually make it back safely, but the whole sortie was about 30 minutes; the main fight was about 15 minutes long. The Spit finally crashed before I towered so was able to claim him as my second. Being in the POTW isn’t easy lol. Anyway, thank you for reading this and checking out the story and pictures.

109 was out of icon range, took advantage and scored some hits on Spit while trying to keep from stalling out- Non-fatal hits (tough plane that Spit)
