What Happens to Ahsoka Tano?
« on: April 01, 2011, 09:09:59 PM »
She and Anakin have developed a deep relationship.  How is it that there has never been a mention of her in any Star Wars movie?

Why don't you write a follow-up screenplay.

You watch that show?  This seems fishy, but I'll bite.

Asohka must die.  The only way to remove her is to kill her.  Luke and Leia must be born, and Anakin must sire them.  If Anakin is romantically involved with Asohka, then the plot will have the most gaping hole in movie history.

Ok, now I can't stop thinking about it, great!

Alright, here goes nothing-

It was a cold night on Coruscant, and Anakin, Kenobi and Asohka have returned from a mission.  As Ben unloads their cargo, Anakin hops up on top of the ship.  A long wound runs up his arm, the souvenier of a droid's blaster bolt.  As Anakin watches the bright lights of the city, Asohka hops up beside him.

"Something the matter, master?"

"No Snips, just nerves"

As the two chat, Padme hears the commotion and wakes up.  Dressed in a shawl she drowsily walks out onto the platform.  The night was cold and she shivered profusely, but soldiered on to see her Anakin and hear news from the front.  A recent hostage fiasco had left her on edge, three senators were dead after an imposter had snuck in as a guard.  For that very reason, she had snuck out on her own.

Wary of her surroundings, Padme looked around each corner before she took it, and nerely vaporized a maintnace technician repairing a broken turbolift.  As she edged closer to her goal, fear clouded her mind.  A warm breeze wafted by, but Padme shivered on, thinking of what could befall her without her security guards.

Back at the platform, Ben had called Anakin and Asohka down from the ship, and the three were unloading their belongings. There were clothes, lightsaber cleaning kits, meditation mats, and scores of trophies taken from missions past.  Asohka pulled a box out from the botom of a stack just as Anakin turned around.

Anakin grabbed Asohka and pulled her tight as the avalanche of crates spilled out onto the platform- vases, droids, blasters and books all tumbled down in a cascade of ruin.  Thinking that his work was done, Anakin relaxed his grip and took a deep breath- they were both safe.

Unfortunately, he couldn't seem to pry Asohka off him.  Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Padme walking down to meet them, and his heart sank.  He cursed under his breath, and tried his best to remove Asohka without making a scene but it was too late. He shut his eyes tightly and braced himself for the berating to come.

Padme saw Anakin in Asohka's arms.  Her jaw fell slack, and her heart skipped a beat.  Shaking uncontrollably, Padme pulled her blaster from its holster.  The safety released with a soft click; she fired once, twice, and Asohka Tano, padawan of Anakin Skywalker, was no more.

As the young tailhead slumped to the ground, Anakin came to his senses.  Pulling his lightsaber from his belt, he thumbed the switch and the blue bladed weapon activated with a cold hiss.  Searching for his assailant, he found only Padme with a smoking blaster.

"Anny!  How could you?" She screamed "You two-timing cur!"

"You heartless scumbag!  I had just saved her from an avalanche of crates!" came his answer.  Tears filled his eyes, and he sank to the floor.  Padme knelt in front of him, and took his chin in her hand.  He looked up and she delivered a stinging smack.

"Don't you ever hurt me like that again, you hear!" She cried.

"You sick, twisted monster, how could you do this to her?" he replied bitterly.

"I-I-I thought that I was going to lose you forever" she answered.

Anakin had no reply, he stood up and stumbled back to the railing.  He took a look over, and saw a group of pubs down below.  He jumped and used the force to cushion his fall.  Padme stood over the railing, unable to see him, and went to Ben who had just come out of the cockpit, lightsaber blazing.

"Calm down, calm down, it's me.  Padme." she called out.

"Who fired the blaster bolts?  Where are Asohka and Annakin?"  he answered, startled to find them both gone.

"I killed Asohka, and Anakin's run away" she muttered.

"What?  Padme, what in the blazes is going on?" he shouted.  She pointed to his feet, and he saw Asohka lying face down, two blaster bolts in her back.  Ben felt weak, but continued "Is this some sort of sick joke?"

"No, it isn't, I killed her.  Now it's my turn to die, isn't it?" she sobbed.

"Padme, you must be joking.  Why would you kill Asohka?" he answered in a daze.

"I thought that she and Anny were in love- I saw them hugging just a second ago".

"Padme, we've all had a long night, I'll find Anakin and get Asohka some help.  You go back to your chamber, and we'll figure this out in the morning."

Padme was able to frame a local assasin group, and Anakin eventually returned.  After a somber farewell to his padawan, Anaking recovered from his loss.  Padme was able to win him back, and the two fell in love once again.  Ben was furious, and this lead to his eventual confrontation with Anakin on Mustafar.  So ends Asohka, padawan of Anakin.

I'm not really sure who your talking about. As far as I understand it's a character from one of those cartoon series', since the series came after episode 3 there was no way George Lucas could know. Also I don't believe George Lucas is directing that series, so it has nothing to do with him.
They'll probably kill her off at the end, so she would not interfere with episode 3.

Note: I think you'll be better off asking this on a star wars forum.

Lucas has declared anything not in the films is not Canon, and he does not abide by it.  So the cartoon series can do what it wants, but is in no relation to the film.  Same goes for the novels, and the comics.

Not to toot my own horn, but has anyone read the story I posted?  It's the first romantic tragedy I've ever written, and I would like to know how it turned out.

I mean the people on a star wars forum would be more knowledgeable of this sort of thing. I'm not saying o'club is a wrong place to post it, I'm saying people on a star wars forum would have better answers.

I watch it with my seven year old.  I was scratching my head over the lack of continuity.  Ahsoka is such an ingrained character that even killing her off would go against continuity for her to be never mentioned in episode three.

I wonder if they recognize the gold mine that could be the adventures of Han Solo before he met Luke and Obi Wan....

They need this saga to play out first to maximize their profits.  However, seeing what Han got up to before then would be EPIC!

he was adding the fact that you would probably get a better answer in a star wars forum, and that the Cartoon series is not in line with the movie events, so that might be why they never mention her

In a deleted scene from Episode III, there is a female jedi character held hostage by Count Dooku aboard the spaceship holding the captured Chancellor Palpatine.  This scene takes place in a corridor moments after Ob-Wan and Anakin board the ship and are searching for Palpatine.  They come across Dooku and the female jedi that resembles Ahsoko.

Dooku impales the female jedi with his lightsaber killing her.

That might anwer you're question but just leads to who she is?
