Here's one of our CO Stampf. This was his first of two B-29 kills last night.

Where where you guys at?  We flew right under a large group of Ki-61 and 84s.  They flew right over the B-29 w/o any of them intercepting them.  This was south of P68.

Did you not see the sea of green around you?  :O

I noticed that there was 2 close waves of bombers and escorts; approximately 70 or more aircraft south of P68.

Due to the small size of the target; the number of bombers expected and since this is a 1 life event. It was a conscious decision prior to the start of the frame by the AK's as defensive coordinator of P68 to ignore the bombers on the merge and concentrate on the fighters.  The group had 22 kills of which 8 were bombers, so we did not totally ignore you.  ;)

There were too many allied fighters to even count.  I think the axis did a great job, against the odds no less.  Well done gents, fun stuff.  I sure hated breaking off that last P51 running home on the deck but alas, just did not have the speed to stay with him.  Looks like he died from a PW just a bit later anyway and my mate AKDogg got the kill and I got (another) assist.  I am the assist King in FSO.  <S>

Short icon range for friendly  i only counted 15 fighter around me and one formation of B-29.  I know there was another formation of bombers near us but did not know what base they where hitting.

Screen shot of the year.  :aok
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

WD40 was over C99 with a mixed batch of KI84's and N1K2's. We encountered heavy F4U1D's. :salute
