Well i was flying around in my goon with my drunks in the back and i got to thinking. What if you could select a different type of troop in the hanger. These sappers or "Demo troops" would be able to kill 1 hanger or say 5-10 town buildings maybe a few ack as well. They would all go after the closest target weather it be a hanger or the town. I don't know just thought it'd be cool. I understand this isn't a game like call of duty but it'd be the same concept of troops entering the map room. Instead they'd enter the hanger or buildings. Id much rather see Hi-tech work on planes than troops though. Its just an idea i thought id throw out there! let me know what you think!   :airplane:

In no way am I in agreement with the idea but do keep in mind, if ack is up, troops will die.  How can parachuting troops fire back with accuracy not having any form of firing platform?  Not to mention the difference between an M1 Garand vs. 37mm ack. 

The only way your idea would work is if the ack is down, way it is now.

I would be more interested in anti-tank troops. Give the half tracks another reason to show up to a GV fight.

The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

Maybe something like this;

we already have two stepping drunks, all you have to do is sit in the hanger for a few minutes and they start to boogy down.

Sapping Tigers once gave me a great deal of satisfaction. Rear quarter panel. woomp woomp ... Woot! Of course we can't just be dropping sapper bots, they have to be players.

Crikey, I remember when we used to do our para missions and the pilot would put the JU52 into a power dive right over the target and everyone would bail before we reached 1000 feet and our chutes would open at the last possible moment. Crazy. I miss the 7th army. Axis was so ticked off they finally changed the game so you couldn't bail unless the plane was level.
