How can I fly the CALW off line?
« on: April 03, 2011, 12:18:49 PM »
On Friday 4/1 (I get it, it was an april fools thing), AH opened up Area 51, and we were able to fly the claw. I didn't realize what the deal was until after FSO, so I got about 10 minuts to play with it. Is there a way to fly the CLAW in off-line mode? I went through every map in off-line mode, I looked for files dated from the second - when I finally got on at 12:30 am. But I can't find anything. I know the dot command was ".plane 112" But it's not working now.

Can you please make it available again? or in off ine mode?

Some things HT keeps locked up like other people lock up jewelry or money.

This is one of them.

The only way we fly the claw or other evil con mission birds is if he decides to let us.

Personally I loved Area 51, was fun, and funny as heck.

Trust me you did not miss much, it's a "ship" that is capable of keeping constant speed at all times and has Star Wars weapons.

I would like to have it for offline, but I don't think it's going to happen.  :( , oh well  :bolt:

I took a CLAW straight up. Since its' max speed is constant I managed to exceeded mach 1 at a significant altitude (speed of sound decreases with temp and therefore altitude). I was wondering how tiny the disc world below me would get when SMACK! I crashed into the invisible barrier.
Next year I'll have to try flying over the edge and down to see the elephants and determine the sex of the great turtle.
