Camaro's are probably my favorite car that isn't a Ford.  I wish my mom hadn't sold her '86 Z-28.  That sucker looked sharp.  I would rather drive it than my F-150 (and that says a LOt coming from a Ford guy! )

years ago, i rebuilt the entire braking system on this......

was a 302 4 speed 4 wheel disc brakes. 49k documented miles on it. friggin thing was still pulling at 7500rpm when i shifted. if i had the money, i'd have bought it when he put it up for sale.

thought about doing that but everyone has said leave it as is, they seem to like the white clean look of the car

i think it looks great as it is....i've seen it done, and it kinda accents the lines.....gives it a pretty mean look.

watch the video on the 2nd link. they run both cars 0-60, braking tests, slalom, etc. the stang pretty much owns the m3.  :devil and that's just the gt.

i'm sure chevy'll come up with a version of their aussi hot rod to eat the beemer alive too very soon.  :devil :bolt:

Camaro SS 0-06 is 4.6..... Can't get enough traction on the stock P Zero tires. Moderately quicker with smaller 18" rims and racing radials.

The camaro I posted vid on... that belongs to Chris, one of our club members, 0-60 1.5552  :D

The ZL1 will be in the 1.5 0-60 ballpark. The Z-28 will most likly be close too.

1966 172G, 180 hp, 117 knot cruise.

My dad went up to look at it a few weeks ago, and we are waiting for good weather so I can go up there and fly it back with my instructor.

theres a ton of F-bodies in Houston and a bunch have that stripe or something similar on their SS hood or custom hood. Mine sticks out as the clean white car.

depends on the tune, fuel system, etc.

like mentioned......look a few pages back to find the pic of my mustang. full weight, low 12's in the quarter, and avg of 24mpg. it'd doable.
