Ya know you are playing the game too much when....

I was walking with my 6 year old son and my wife was about 10 ft ahead when Fud jr let go of my hand to run up to mom...I yelled to her "CHECK 6!"
I also have been answering emails from coworkers with a "rgr".

Anything other stories of mixing game time with real time?

That's pretty funny. I have referred to a person at work as 'humping my ankle.' Everyone was pretty surprised and I passed it off as an old military term.

I'll be driving and start looking around, checking my mirrors (like any good driver should), but what gets me is I catch myself looking up!  I don't even have a sunroof!

I say rgr, check 6 in day to day conversation, I line up other cars and gun them down with my voice box "tacacacacacacacacacacacacaca", When on air experience flights with the AFJROTC (AAFC in Australia) I scan the sky and call out aircraft height, estimated speed and affiliation to the instructor.

 When I took my first flying lessons I had a tendency to reach for the yoke while taxiing to the runway. I was properly using my rudders, but would start to go for the yoke. My FI asked what the F was going on. I told him about AH and that I had always used a twisty stick instead of rudder pedals. He laughed...and then required me to sit on my hands while taxiing!!  :airplane:

Sometimes before I talk, I feel like I have to say "radio" because that's what I always click to talk :lol Thankfully I have never really said it.

San Antonio approach has planes fly right over Boerne Stage, so when I'm flying back and I'm a good distance out, I'll start pulling lead on the big jets

I was flying out of San Jose, and i looked out my window down into the valley. What I saw was a large farming valley and a airfeild that looks EXACTLY like a medium field. Guess what was 300 yards down the road, a small town about 5 blocks by 5 blocks. The first thing i thought was DIVE IN!!!!  :airplane:

After flying for several hours I had to go to the store. As I was driving, I found myself "trying" to barrel roll as to not overshoot the car ahead of me and squeeze in on it's 6 lol. The way people drive makes me want to mount some 50 cals or tater tossers on the front end of my truck lol

funny thing is that i actually thought it was you :lol


i say "rgr" and "cc" in texts all the time, and i've caught myself on the radio in ROTC exercises referring to tanks as "gvs"
