Same goes for my kids.
Since I make beer by the 10-15 gallon batch (6-8 cases at a time), it's not really a big deal or mystery to them.
This reminds me of a funny first time. Down here people sometimes do a homemade fermented drink for labour day. If done correctly it should produce a fresh carbonated drink containing 0.5 - 1% alcohol. However add a little too much sugar and let it sit in the bottle it really becomes like beer (in strength) or even stronger.
So, one day my cousins parents are away from home and the little sister of the mother is taking care of the kids. Suddenly it seems my cousin is acting completely drunk. Everyone thought he was just playing but in reality he had found leftover bottles of this festive drink and emptied a large bottle of it

He was around 10 years old so naturally everyone got really worried. I don't recall if they took him for stomach flush or not.
