Are you guys ready?! :)
Clock is ticking gentlemen, just a few days before liftoff...
A telegram came in, probably for some training activities or something ;)
Keep an eye on your e-mail as well, we'll send out the final notes with all the latest details very soon!

~S~ !

-----------------------------------------------------
--=== PROGRAM EUROCON 2011 ===--
-----------------------------------------------------

"Torpedo" Thursday, April 7

Early morning - Preparing the network and con room by the crew.
14:00 - Convention (room) is officially open / arrival guests at the hotel.
“Welcome all Thursday!” Dweebs exchanging beers of some sort, don’t get too drunk! We need to fly a bit also.<g>

18:00 - Dinner in the hotel is served.
19:00 - Opening evening; a few words from our CO, greetings, drinking, chatting, gaming, wooden shoe race, karaoke ;D
20:30 -  "Brothers in Arms” (Aces High mission) [details at the con]

"Battle" Friday, April 8

08:15 - till 09:30 - Breakfast! Restart your engine for another bright day…
09:00 - "Free Hunt"
12:30 - Lunch at the hotel
14:00 - "The Battle of the Castle!" Euro Paintball event;
You asked for it, you’ll get it!
This time we go to the woods around the castle to do some offense and defense, eurodweeb style :D
2 teams, so if we think about some previous battles, then the red team should do some serious thinking about a new strategy ;)
New scenery, new teams, new chances! Of course the final flag saver will win the honour and a prize :)
After the battle we will finish with a 40KM marathon……ehhh, just kidding, people like Tomkin would probably aim the ‘meat chopper’ at us and demanding for some food now… Alright, moving on! ;)
17:30 ~~~The old Inn orange BBQ ~~~
Ahhh, afraid we took this of the chart? No way, Jose! After the battle we deserve a fine meal, and no other good way to do that with a classic BBQ. MEAT(tm) guaranteed. And in preparation for some excellent beverages for the evening, a good start for you pilot!
20:00 - 'Open event' [details at the con]
21:30 - "FPO Baptism Ceremony"; Is this the part were the Finns are smiling in the room and we don’t know what the heck is going to happen next??
22:00 - …till late… After the ‘magic’ drinks, let’s see who is still able to fly now heh! 8)

"Free" Saturday,  April 9

08:15 - till 09:30 - Breakfast. Probably needed after a hard night of classic mayhem... :D
09:30 - Free Saturday, that’s right! We’ll let you decide how to fill in your activities..
Relaxing, game competitions, outside visits, you can check some of our suggestions mentioned below...
13.00 - Lunch at hotel
13:30 - "Fall Gelb"
Time to start a war or something ;) Do some co-op stuff , missions, LAN games, find a karaoke partner, you name it...

Want to try some games? We have free accounts for Aces High and BattleGround Europe available for you. Check the whiteboard for more info..

Are you up for a ‘fighter wing tactic clinic’ ? You can subscribe at dhyran’s office for the
‘Basic Fighter Maneuvering Element Tactics (2v1)’. If there are enough interested he can run this for you.

You want to abandon your cockpit for some outside activity? You may consider the following options:
Looking for some skiing action? The Jever Skihalle in Neuss (DE) is a 40 minute drive from our place.

Liberty Park - Overloon (war museum)
Did you miss the museum tour in Overloon last year? Then you have another chance for a visit.
It is a 20 minute drive from our stay.

Drive a few heats in a kart? Swalmen is a 20 minute drive for some classic karting action:

18:00 - Dinner in the hotel is served.
19:00 – Write up for the 2vs2 duel. This year for the first time played in Aces High!
20:00 - --== Aces High 2vs2 ==--

Who will be the winners of this first edition? Will last year’s orange aces retain their title? 8)
Let’s find out. Accounts are sponsored by HiTech, so everyone can join.
After the match we will have the winners/price ceremony of all events.

"Goodbye" Sunday, April 10

08:15 - till 09:30 - Breakfast.
10:00 - “Free Hunt”
Flights initiated, start your games for the final games...
13:00 - Lunch; Grab your last lunch before you leave. Just to make sure you’ll start your trip with a full stomach...
14:00 - The End of Eurocon 2011. Hope everyone had a great time. Watch for traffic and volcanoes! And see you in 2012? ~S~

Quick, before Dhyran names the people in the pic - everyone pic Dhyran out. I'll say 7th from the left, in the 2nd horizontal striped top.  :D

Wurzel (hope you had a great time Dhyran, maybe one day I'll be able to attend!!)
I'm the worst pilot ingame ya know!!!

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.
