BF3 will be coming out this Dec and when it does, COD will be knocked off the face of earth. The game looks absolutly AMAZING.

This video is GAMEPLAY NOT CINEMATIC'S

Play it on 1080p if you want the full quality.

Looks like a carbon copy of Call of Duty... with better graphics... so, it looks like a carbon copy of the next Call of Duty. :yawn

They could at least pick a different environment... what's the last major title that wasn't set in the Middle East...? OK, Homefront and Black Ops, then...?

It would be at least a change of scenery if someone were to explore a large scale European conflict, perhaps changing the dynamics a little, too, fighting tanks and helos instead of just goat herders with AK47's...

The Yugoslav wars could be kind of interesting if not for all of the genocide and political sensitivity...

The problem with graphics like those is that they come with the cost of a 6-8 hour long game.

I miss games that lasted longer than a couple of LotR movies.

COD takes no skill at all..its just a point and shoot game, and a run and gun game....BF3 is going to be way more realistic, and require teamwork and strategy. COD requires no team work or strategy at all, as an example, I had a TDM where i went 69-2...I won the game...not my team...now go play BFBC2 and get a score like that. It doesnt matter because you have to work as a team in games like BF and Killzone. . Cod 1-4 were good, but now its just the same game over and over again with different guns and maps....Not to mention shotguns with 10 foot range, noob toobing across maps, and snipers that take no skill what so ever.

Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

how about 200sqkm maps that actualy accomadate the real life infantry tactics? How about a game that when you get hit just once, your are in big trouble if not dead?

That's why if I play any fps it's ArmA2.

Doom or DukeNukem 3D was a better game experience than CoD style fps, imo.

Karnak BF3 is supposed to be in line with other BFs : multiplayer first.

Motherland - apparently there'll also be segments in Paris, New York, and Tehran. Dunno if these trailers are from Tehran and what the distribution will be.. BF BC2 had a pretty good variety of locales.  Sangre Del Toro was beautiful, even though single player was terrible.

The graphics are great, but after the first few bits of footage released it's pretty obvious that the game hasn't changed much.  It's still the art department carrying the studio.
