Main issue: Unable to select (
Weapon select secondary) the wing droptanks (75 or 150gal) for jettison if any wing tip goes missing - even when already selected prior to wingtip removal. There are 3 retestable problems when wingtips are removed with wing DTs on:
1-You can still switch and show wing DTs (
Fuel tank selector) and use fuel available.
2-The wing DT's weight remains (confirmed in flight and on E6B) as if they physically exist but the DTs 3D model (on both sides) is hidden.
3-You cannot jettison said wing DTs or cycle secondary weapons and expect to see a fuel quantity reading (Except with the fuel selector).
Issue analysis: It is possible that the 3D wing droptank object is linked to being able to select them in the cockpit for jettison. But it could also be intentional not to be able to jettinson them (realism) but the DT object being hidden remains an issue.
Correction suggested: Have the wing tanks show up uppon wingtip destroyed and be able to jettison them.
