I've heard that adblock plus will stop them.

I haven't seen any youtube ads since I started using ABP.

Someties you can use F5 to bypass the ad, keep pressing and it will usually let you through. After pressing it 30 times, it becomes redundant, though...

It will end up taking more of your time destroying the refresh button than it would to sit
and watch a 15 second ad.

I installed that for firefox the other day, it certainly works! It's fantastic, I don't regret

I must've been the only one without the ad problems. I don't even have the Adblock Plus add-on for my Firefox browser either.
