« on: April 12, 2011, 02:36:52 PM »
bout 2 weeks ago I ran a Tiger into a town to the map room parked outside, suddenly an F6F comes over firing rockets they land under me. my tank goes over then into the air bout 10 to 20 feet and falls back in the middle of the road upside down, since I could cover the maproom still I stayed there until I was bombed.

I'd be willing to bet that your tank moved into the hedgerow somehow and was flipped upon contact.  You'd be surprised at how little contact is needed against a hedgerow or building in order to flip a gv upside down.

Being tracked could've triggered the small rocking movement that would've caused such a collision/repulsion bug.

I can probably host it for you for about a month, if it's as small as it should be -- cropped down to just the rocket impacts and tank flipping out, no text/vox, should be easily below 500 kb.

PM me if you're ok with it, I'll reply with my email.

You were propped up against a building.  When the rockets hit, for some reason the impacts happen below the street level of the town, on the ground that's below it.  You get tracked, and somehow fall thru the "street" ground level, and then it rolls over

Wish bombs had a bit more toss on tanks. I remember reading how a P-47 pilot over Normandy had caused a Panzer MkIV to do flips by dropping a 500lb'er directly behind it.
